It is not known when Marmaris was founded, but Physkos as Marmaris was previously known, was part of the Carian Empire in the 6th century B.C. when overrun by the Lydians. Another invasion by the Lydians in 334 B.C. led to the partition of the Roman Empire of Alexander the Great.

Apartments have 1 bedroom with twin beds or a double bed and a separate bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. There is a living area with sofa beds and a small kitchenette area.
The kitchenette has a fridge, kettle and a 2 electric rings suitable for preparing snacks and light meals. All apartments have a balcony, hairdryer and telephone.
Air conditioning is also available the 1 bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 and the studio apartment rooms as above without the separate bedroom. All sleep up to 4 people. The studio rooms are on the basement level.
